Multistage Air Cleaner/Filter consists of two or more stages of filtration. The first usually being Pre-Cleaner, which contains Vortex tubes to remove about 98% of dust present in the intake air prior to reaching the Filtering Elements. These Filtering Elements consists of Metal Wool media treated with engine oil.The Filtration Efficiency of the Air Cleaner/ Filter solely depends on Vortex tubes and uniform distribution of Metal Wool which arrests almost all the dust particles. At IFT, we manufacture these Multistage Air Cleaners which are used in T90 & T72 Battle Tanks. These Air Filters can be cleaned & reused after particular time intervals.
